Our attorney Victor Nunes attended the II Banking Law Congress, organized by the Special Banking Law Committee of OAB/SP — OAB/SP stands for Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seção de São Paulo, which is the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Chapter.
The event, held yesterday (18th) at the OAB/SP headquarters, brought together a series of lectures and debates relevant to the financial sector, as well as the launch of two publications produced by the Committee.
In one of these publications, titled “Innovation and Regulation – Banking Law in the Digital Era,” Victor Nunes contributed an article examining the civil liability of cryptocurrency brokerages for third‑party fraud, drawing a comparison with the approach traditionally adopted by the courts in the conventional banking market.
The Donato & Garcia Neto Advogados team actively participates in legal discussion forums, reaffirming its commitment to closely following the ongoing transformations in the sector.
